8oz beer x4 laps =32oz total.
Cost: $15
What you get for $15:
32oz of craft brew beer. Custom Pint Glass. Beer Mile Event. Potential to win prizes. Oktoberfest!
For participating you will receive 32oz of beer (used during the event). More prizes to be announced!
Price increase to $20 on September 8th.
Day of registration $25.
Expectations on the starting line:
1st lap: consume beer before lap starts, runs lap.
2nd lap: consume beer in transition before starting lap, runs lap.
3rd lap: consume beer in transition before starting lap, runs lap.
4th final lap: consume beer in transition before starting lap, runs lap to finish line, Finish!
1. Each member of the heat starts at the same time.
2. Beer must be consumed before the lap has begun, within the transition area which is a zone before the start/finish line which will be marked.
3. The race begins with the drinking of the first beer in the transition zone.
4. All competitors will drink an 8oz beer from Serda Brewery each lap.
5. Beer is not to touch the lips of the competitor until the official “start”. Once the beer is consumed, the competitor is required to tip the empty cup over your head at the end of the chug to verify an empty cup.
6. If competitors vomit before finishing the race one penalty lap at the end of the race immediately after the fourth lap is to be completed. Note: vomiting more than once during the race still requires only one penalty lap at the end (Continue at your own accord).
7. Obey the sidewalk/street/pedestrian laws at all times. Failure to obey laws will result in disqualification.
8. Expect additional instructions on the day of the event.
The best time will be selected from each heat for the overall fastest male/female winners.
