About the Director: Meg McCrummen Fowler comes to the Museum from the University of South Alabama, where she has served as a Visiting Scholar in the Center for the Study of War and Memory and as an instructor in Department of Art and Art History.
Event Details
Meg is currently a doctoral candidate at Tulane University, completing an interdisciplinary PhD in Art History & Society. She holds a BA in History and French from The University of Alabama and an MA in History of Art from Tulane University. Her extensive museum experience includes, most recently, a fellowship at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. A note from the Director: "As an historian who believes in public service, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my community in this way. The Museum is an exciting place to experience all the vibrant stories of Mobile’s history. It is my goal that, in the coming years, the Museum will become increasingly engaged in the community and engaging to our visitors.”
